Mr. Robert P. Firmbach is the President of RPF Associates, an OSHA, DOT, safety and fire protection consulting company. In this capacity he manages the company, provides technical assistance to clients, develops safety, health and property conservation programs for the industrial sector, motor fleet and construction companies.
 Prior to forming RPF Associates Mr. Firmbach was the Assistant Vice President of Loss Control Service of AIG Risk Management, having started this division in 1978. Bob holds the AAS degree in Fire Safety and is a graduate of New York Universities Center for Safety Education with studies in industrial and motor fleet accident prevention with more than 40 years of experience in the safety field. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and is licensed by the NYS Department of Labor as a Workplace Safety Consultant (CSC).

RPF Associates will begin its 25th year this May providing manufacturers, contractors, insurance brokers and their clients with true loss control services. Our philosophy is to provide meaningful services to the clients in order to assist them to set up safety and fire prevention programs that will work to reduce injuries and loss of property.
Most insurance carriers provide underwriting investigation services designed to protect the insurance companies assets, not to help the insured. They would rather deny coverage than to take an account with marginal experience and work to improve it.
Our company feels that most companies have been shortchanged and are in need of a consultant dedicated to help them improve their injury rate. In the process of doing this we also assist them to comply with state and federal regulations such as OSHA, DOT…
RPF Associates has a motto, “Do What Works”. We do not want to change the type of service presently being offered (if any); rather we want to enhance it.
